I just realised that Newton Faulkner looks like John Butler mixed with the dude from Simply Red. After three long years, ginger rasta Newton Faulkner returns, following the success of his embarrassingly affecting Dream Catch Me single with this biggish tune about clouds. It’s maybe overly-produced, considering that Newton is supposed to be one of those plainspoke singer-songwriter types, but Clouds has an appropriately optimistic and encouraging vibe.
