Clear your ears: YHWH Nailgun are heading back to Australia in July, with a fresh batch of local openers.
The New York four-piece are also making their New Zealand debut this time around, adding an Auckland stop to the itinerary. YHWH Nailgun last toured Australia in 2025, filling rooms and selling out their Melbourne show along the way.
The tour arrives on the back of Magazine, released 11 June via 4AD. The record crams 10 tracks into just 11 minutes, honing the band’s blend of industrial noise and apocalyptic energy into something even leaner than before.

YHWH Nailgun started life as a duo in 2020, built around vocalist Zack Borzone and drummer Sam Pickard, before expanding to a four-piece in 2022 with guitarist and producer Saguiv Rosenstock and synth player Jack Tobias. Their debut album 45 Pounds landed in 2025.
Before the club run kicks off, the band play Unsound Adelaide on 11 July as part of Illuminate Adelaide 2026. Melbourne’s opener is R. Rebeiro, a local artist working with percussion and electronics to explore the physicality of timbre, pulling together drums, concrete, steel and wood with sine tones and distortion. Alongside his own work, Rebeiro programs and curates experimental music events across the country, linking local and international scenes.
Sydney draws Marcus Whale, a musician and performance-maker whose fifth album Nether arrived in July, following earlier records Inland Sea, The Hunger and Ecstasy. Brisbane hosts Fatshaudi, the project of producer and vocalist Rachael Ryan, whose delicate pop leans on soft vocals and atmospheric production, with past collaborators including Jonatan Leandoer and Maria Somerville. The Auckland show brings in Aotearoa duo Elliot & Vincent, fresh from opening for Pixies and Ethel Cain across their recent Australian and New Zealand tours.
