Quantas passengers will be treated to Netflix, Foxtel and Spotify this year when Quantas launches its new service.
While the subscription is usually at a cost for us land-lubbers, it’ll be free to use for passengers. This means you can binge-watch the new season of Stranger Things while crossing the country.
Domestic roll out is slated to take flight mid-year, with a full roll out to Quantas’ international fleet slated within the next 18 months.

“Foxtel and Netflix both have huge catalogues that are expanding all the time, so there will be no shortage of entertainment on board,” said Qantas Executive Olivia Wirth.
“The usage of data from the collection of albums we already have on our aircraft shows that music is a great way for passengers to relax as they watch the world fly by. Spotify will open this up so you can listen to virtually any song you like.”
