Playing two Sundays in August is the new act Owelu Dreamhouse, bringing along a unique blend of genres that feature hints of soul and psychedelia. Jake Amy is a musician’s musician. They have played alongside some absolute A-listers, and have a CV that any keyboardist in the world would envy. Proposed as an underground celebration of both Naarm and Singapore, Common Grounding will do exactly as it promises on August 24 at Wax Music Lounge, establishing a welcoming common ground between the two cultures. The inaugural event will be headlined by DJ Mary Sue, a rapper and producer from Singapore.
