Indie pop that verges on adult contemporary, from a Sydney trio fronted by Simone Macarounas. Bandit reaches for a steady alt-country murmur, a kind of slow-swelling delicacy, but the song plods in an uninspired, all too bland fashion. There’s nothing wrong with it, it just doesn’t shake the soul.
