The Autumn Road Retirement Village in Caulfield has an ultra competitive bridge club but when Minnie Cohen loses her partner in an unfortunate swimming accident the best player in the village, Liraz Weinberg implores that she step up to the plate.

Cohen wants something in return and understands that a match made in heaven between two hopefully single grandchildren is boiling under the covers. Cohen assumes the role as cupid as her granddaughter and Weinberg’s grandson come together.

The brainchild of author Lally Katz, the production looks to further solidify her reputation as one of the most unique voices in contemporary Australian playwriting.
