Mr. Bungle’s journey began in the gritty ’80s thrash metal scene, hailing from an impoverished lumber and fishing town. Formed by the curious and volatile trio of Trey Spruance, Mike Patton, and Trevor Dunn, the band navigated through various members until solidifying their lineup in 1989. With a Warner Bros Records deal in hand, they released three albums, toured the Western hemisphere, and somehow managed to dodge critical acclaim. The band, though rumored to have disbanded, took a 20-year hiatus, delving into diverse musical pursuits before re-emerging in 2020.

This time around, the original trio reunites with Anthrax’s Scott Ian and former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo, bringing forth the much-anticipated release of the Eureka-bred band’s unreleased demo, ‘The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny.’

Adding fuel to the fire, the legendary Melvins will be joining Mr. Bungle on this explosive journey. Over their storied career, Melvins have seamlessly blended punk and metal influences, profoundly impacting grunge icons like Tad and Soundgarden. Despite their cult status, they have influenced Nirvana and others, leaving an indelible mark on the ’90s musical landscape. Fresh from wrapping up North American and European outings, Melvins are gearing up for new music in the coming year.
