Rhys James is touring Chop Logic across Australia this November, opening in Melbourne before shows in three more cities.
Chop Logic is the new hour from the Mock the Week regular, a fast, forensic show of big ideas and gag-dense overthinking.
Rhys James has landed on a discovery he reckons could fix everything, and the premise runs on a catch: if he can ignore his own problems long enough, he might just solve yours. The promoter sums the whole thing up as smart, silly and brilliantly chaotic.

James is best known as one of the final regulars on Mock the Week, with credits also taking in Live at the Apollo, QI and A League of Their Own, plus The Great American Joke Off in the United States. He has sold out two national tours and six Edinburgh Fringe runs, and created and starred in three shows for BBC Radio 4, one of them the ARIA-nominated Rhysearch. His U&Dave lecture I Stalk Strangers Online has since passed 15 million views.
His writing reaches beyond the stage too, with a debut memoir, You’ll Like It When You Get There, published in 2025. Chop Logic first bows at the Edinburgh Fringe in August before a 40-date UK run that stretches from September into May 2027, including a London stop at Soho Theatre Walthamstow. The four Australian shows are the only ones on the schedule outside that run so far.
Presale opens on 9 July at 11am local time, with general tickets released on 13 July through Bohm Presents. The Melbourne date runs at Comedy Republic in the CBD, and the Perth, Sydney and Brisbane shows follow later in November.
