I wish I had a tail. Seriously.
MiDFur is Australia’s largest furry and anthropomorphic arts convention.
So it’s something a little bit different to what we normally cover here. In that we don’t normally cover people dressing up as animals. But now we do! Because hey, it’s awesome!
Anyway, they’ve got international guests (Eisner Award-winning comic artist, writer and creator of Usagi Yojimbo) and Big Blue Fox (DJ, filmmaker and costumer) as well as four whole days of events which usually brings about 300 people to celebrate all things furry.
Wonderfully and adorably it’s also a charity and raises big dollars for The Lost Dogs Home in Melbourne. It happens in December (December 2-5) and you can register online at midfur.com.au for $160. You also get to choose a faction – Villain or Hero.
