Melbournes own Miami Horror are warming up this winter with the announcement of the Summersun tour, their last Australian shows for 2011.
This winter will be a time of heat for the boys of Miami Horror. Before relocating halfway across the planet for a northern summer they’ll be bringing the heat back as they roll out the Summersun tour across Australia.
They’ve been flying across the world over the last few months and playing some of the best festivals and shows across the northern hemisphere, including at the famous SXSW festival in the US. In Europe they dominated the airwaves of Denmark and Switzerland and then played more sell out shows in North and South America.
That’s a busy year start for anyone and the Australian winter is looking busy too with the Horror playing seven shows across the country. Along with fellow Victorians Gold Fields they’re playing two Vic dates, the first on Wednesday June 29 at the Karova Lounge in Ballarat and then on Saturday July 9 at the Forum Theatre in Melbourne. Tickets come on sale Monday March 28 through Oztix and Ticket Master.
