Friendly Fires Would Like You To Meet Pala

friendlyfirs.jpg

It’s been three years since Friendly Fires released their début album. Now they’re back with a new heap of beats, and it’s called Pala.

They’re back and they’ve got a new trick. It’s called Pala and it’s the latest album from dance-punks themselves Friendly Fires and it hits shelves around the world this May.

After being nominated for two Brit awards and the Mercury Music Award you’d think that Friendly Fires would be resting on their laurels and you would be mistaken. They’ve been working hard at their latest serving of dance with classic pop sensibilities, recording all over the world, from their home in St Albans, Britain to New York and France.

Pala is the follow up to their 2008 self titled debut release, and has some impressive collaborations within its plastic sleeve. The world renowned Harlem Gospel Choir lends their voices along with Alex Frankel of Holy Ghost fame.

The first single from Pala is Live Those Days Tonight and have a listen below to check it out.

Friendly Fires new album Pala is released to adoring masses on May 13.
