In other PRESS RELEASE FAIL news, Perth’s Mezzanine have “an attitude that pretension dares not fondle.” Ew. They also describe the “opening stanza” of Can’t Feel a Thing as “hemorrhage inducing” – yet another entry on my growing list of things you shouldn’t write about yourself. Musically, they’re trekking through some mid-nineties grunge pop with a slight British inflection; lots of cyclical guitar noise and posturing, pouting vocals. I have yet to hemorrhage, but I did get sleepy at one point.
