It’s a lineup of local heroes, for a big ol’ party in the Coburg Velodrome, hosted by the Dylan Alcott Foundation and raising funds and awareness for people living with disabilities who just want to achieve their goals.
Alcott himself is a Paralympian, and all-around music expert, who’s organised a jam-packed bill including Kingswood, Tkay Maidza, Book Seeka, Japanese Wallpaper, Ninajirachi, Big Words, Owl Eyes… and so much more.
You can register for discounted pre-sale tickets, but if you miss out on those it’s all ok, because 100% of the proceeds are being donated to the cause.
There will be Auslan interpreters on most of the stages, as well as special platforms for festival-goers in wheelchairs. Also, every single artist is donating their talents.
It’s pretty special that our local music scene is coming together for one big supportive and inclusive day of good music and good times, and it’s really damn exciting that this will be a space where you are accepted, no matter what your gender, race or disability.
