Set in rural England in 1865, Lady Macbeth follows the story of Katherine, a woman trapped in an unhappy marriage who unleashes chaos on her husband’s estate.
Producer Fodhla Cronin O’Reilly, screenwriter Alice Birch, and Australian cinematograhper Ari Wegner worked on the highly-anticipated film which is already being labelled a masterful feminist work.
Following the screening, a panel of female film practitioners will discuss their industry experience and the importance of striving for gender equality.
