Trailblazing art will be at the forefront of the event, curated from 60 leading galleries from countres including Portugal, Singapore and New Zealand and Indigenous art centres from the more remote corners of the country.

This year, the event’s theme is ‘ketherba / together’, highlighting the power of art to stimulate ideas and bring people together from different walks of life. It will be focused on solo shows and works of scale and significance, meaning there will be some very exciting pieces in the room and people in the crowd.

Not only is the fair a great place to admire some art, but it’s also a forum for sharing ideas – a gathering that pushes the art world forward. The program is packed with live music, performance art pieces, parties and talks.

As always, the opening night Vernissage will be a classy affair that gives visitors the chance to take a first look at the gallery’s offerings.

Catch the Lux Australis Ensemble perform their debut work in a celebration to open the fair, see Diego Ramirez perform the song Light My Fire while splattered with ominous black goo, experience Georgia Banks’ romantic performance piece Kissing Booth… The fair promises four days full of quirky and interesting experiences.
