Editor’s Note

I’ve written the phrase ‘Happy New Year’ no less than 100 times this week – but it’s only fitting that I pass on the sentiment to you seeing as we’re back together again for another year. Whether you are into the idea of a new year as a chance at renewal, or you were just down for another excuse to party, I hope you had the greatest of celebrations. I’ve definitely set the benchmark high for the rest of my year, ringing in 2018 at Beyond The Valley and spending this past weekend at Unify – luckily there are a host of incredible musicians preparing to grace our stages to keep me going.

To kick things off we’ve got everything you need to know about The Pier Street Party. Coming to Frankston next month they’ve put together a pretty sweet lineup – what better excuse to get out of the city? While you’re at it, we’ve also got you covered for Regional Victoria music hubs.

We’ve also got chats with local rockers Crepes, the incredible Tiny Little Houses, Modern Baseball’s Jake Ewald about his solo venture Slaughter Beach, Dog and New York artist Porches.

Between album releases and tours, there’s already so much to look forward to in 2018. I, for one, am pretty bloody excited.
