Editor’s Note

After last week’s nostalgia-fuelled trip, it’s only right that we get straight back into checking out all the incredible tours, festivals and events taking place around Melbourne for the rest of the year. In a month, St Kilda’s Catani Gardens will be transformed in a feast of arts and music for The Pleasure Garden. Ahead of the event, we chatted to headliners Fat Freddy’s Drop about balancing life, kids and music – it sounds exhausting! Elsewhere Claudia Sangiorgi Dalimore and Michelle Grace Hunder take us through their incredible project Her Sound Her Story, we get the lowdown on Soundvision and Fortunes chat to us about ‘Daddies’.

That’s not all though. Find out where Lindi Ortega recorded her latest record, how Tonight Alive are moving forward on Underworld and when Quicksand finally decided to make music together again. That’s enough from me though – I’ll leave you to discover the rest. See a gig, drink a bev, and tell me all about it next week.
