Hosted over two nights, Made In Melbourne will open at The Astor Theatre. Veteran Melbourne actor Jeremy Kewley will open the festival with an undoubtedly rehearsed speech, all before the festival launches into a collection of Melbourne’s finest filmmakers.
Upcoming director Juiletta Boscolo will premiere Safe; a story about love inhibited by the past with ABC Rake start, Adrienne Pickering, giving life to the film.
The Order of Melbourne will host the closing night of Made In Melbourne. Pizza, booze, Q&A panels and prizes will be awarded that night. Prizes are awarded based on the audience’s response to the films (and their votes casted).
