Live at the Gardens is back for March 2026 with five epic shows across two weekends at Royal Botanic Gardens.

Bliss n Eso, Cut Copy, Leftfield, Marlon Williams, Sons of the East and Thelma Plum will headline the fourth season of Melbourne’s outdoor music series. Live at the Gardens transforms the Observatory Precinct into an outdoor stage under the stars, set against one of the city’s most stunning natural backdrops.

MG Live announced the lineup following the third season’s final show last weekend. Five nights of music span Friday 6 March through Sunday 15 March, with performances kicking off as summer winds down and autumn arrives in the gardens.

Friday 6 March opens with Marlon Williams joined by Emma Donovan and Kee’ahn. Saturday 7 March features Thelma Plum and Sons of the East with Jem Cassar-Daley, while Sunday 8 March brings UK electronic act Leftfield with Paul Mac delivering a DJ set alongside Late Nite Tuff Guy.

Weekend two kicks off Friday 13 March with Cut Copy headlining a stacked electronic lineup featuring Todd Terje, CC:Disco!, Crazy P handling DJ duties and Colette. Hip hop closes out the series Sunday 15 March when Bliss n Eso takes the stage with Perth rapper Drapht.

Cut Copy’s show leans heavily into the dance music spectrum, with Norwegian disco producer Todd Terje joining CC:Disco! and UK house duo Crazy P. It’s a night built for movement, with each act bringing distinct flavours to the electronic music umbrella.

Leftfield’s Sunday 8 March performance falls on the eve of Melbourne’s public holiday, giving the UK duo’s progressive house and big beat sound an extra advantage for those planning their recovery time. Paul Mac’s DJ set adds local electronic credibility to the international headliner.

Marlon Williams brings his folk-influenced sound to open the series, supported by soul and gospel powerhouse Emma Donovan and rising artist Kee’ahn. It’s a gentler start before the weekend builds toward Thelma Plum’s indie pop and Sons of the East’s folk rock on Saturday, with Jem Cassar-Daley connecting the lineup.

Bliss n Eso closes everything out with their brand of Australian hip hop, bringing nearly two decades of experience to the final night. Multiple ARIA Award-winning artist Drapht
joins the bill, delivering his trademark sharp lyricism and high-voltage energy, with hip hop duo Horrorshow rounding out the lineup.

Royal Botanic Gardens‘ Observatory Precinct offers a rare combination of inner-city accessibility and natural setting, making Live at the Gardens one of Melbourne’s more distinctive music series.
