Laneous is throwing a huge album launch party at the Curtin

He'll have his mates Jazz Party in tow.

Brisbane-bred Laneous has his fingers in many pies – you probably recognise him from Laneous & The Family Yah, Kooii or Vulture St. Tape Gang – but his latest endeavour sees him exploring a solo pursuit. Making his solo debut with MONSTERA DELICIOSA, the record marks an exciting new chapter for Laneous.

Along with treating fans to a long-awaited solo album, Laneous will also be throwing an album launch party for the ages. To give the record a proper introduction to the world, the now Melbourne-based muso has called on his favourite local musicians and mates Jazz Party to help get the party started.

Although MONSTERA DELICIOSA sees Laneous branching off on his own, the record does feature collaborations with a few familiar creative minds. Adding their flavour to the albums exotic groove, you’ll recognise Paul Bender and Simon Mavin from Hiatus Kaiyote, Cactus Channel’s Hudson Whitlock and Jazz Party’s Donny Stewart.

MONSTERA DELICIOSA is due for release on Friday May 10 via Soul Has No Tempo. In the meantime, check out his latest single ‘Hold My Hand’.
