Kings of Leon play Flemington Racecourse on 5 March 2027, with Ocean Alley in support.
The Followills are taking a lap of Flemington. Kings of Leon play there on 5 March, their only Victorian date.
O My Beloved, the 10th studio album from Kings of Leon, comes out on 6 November, and the band’s Australian run in early 2027 is built around it. The lineup is still the original four Followills: brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared, plus their cousin Matthew. Their previous record, Can We Please Have Fun, landed in 2024.
Only three cities made the cut. Sydney opens the tour at Centennial Park on 28 February under the Sydney Summertime banner, then the band heads to Brisbane Showgrounds on 3 March. Melbourne gets the final show two days later. Ocean Alley are special guests on every date. The Northern Beaches band took out the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2018 with Confidence.

Kings of Leon formed in Nashville in 1999 and took their name from Leon Followill, the brothers’ grandfather. Their father was a travelling Pentecostal preacher, so the boys grew up moving from town to town across the American South. Debut album Youth & Young Manhood came out in 2003 and caught on in the UK before it did at home.
Fourth album Only by the Night came out in 2008 and has the two songs most people know them for. Sex on Fire won the Triple J Hottest 100 that year, a decade before Ocean Alley did it with Confidence, and Use Somebody took Record of the Year at the Grammys in 2010. The band didn’t get a US number one album until Walls in 2016.
Tickets come with some homework. Pre-order O My Beloved through Artist First by 4pm AEDT on 21 October to unlock the artist pre-sale, which opens at 12pm local time on 22 October. Mastercard and Vodafone customers get their own windows from the same moment, both closing at 12pm local on 27 October.
Live Nation’s pre-sale starts a day after the artist one, at 12pm local on 23 October, and you’ll need to register with Live Nation beforehand. Anyone without a code can buy from 1pm local time on 27 October, when general tickets go on sale an hour after the card and phone pre-sales wrap.
Every on-sale time is local to the show, which matters if you are buying for Brisbane. Queensland skips daylight saving, so its noon pre-sale lands at 1pm in Melbourne.
