Kehlani announces January tour

Kehlani

GRAMMY nominee Kehlani today announced they’ll be bringing their 'Blue Water Road Trip World Tour' to Australia and New Zealand in January 2023.

To celebrate the recent release of their highly anticipated album blue water road, Kehlani will kick of their tour interestingly enough in Auckland this January followed by a visit to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Brisbane fans needn’t worry about being forgotten with a special Brisbane appearance to be announced very soon.

Famous for their blunt and often eye-opening renditions about life, longing, lust, and love, the Bay Area-born two-time Grammy-nominated multiplatinum singer emerged in 2014 and has steadily grown in reputation and critical acclaim.

In Melbourne, they’ll be playing Sidney Myer Music Bowl on January 27.

Thus far, they have picked up over 20 gold and platinum RIAA certifications, tallied five billion streams, and garnered the aforementioned pair of Grammy nods in the categories of Best Urban Contemporary Album for the gold-certified mixtape You Should Be Here and Best R&B Performance for the platinum single ‘Distraction’.

Beyond blockbuster collaborations with Cardi B, Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Kiana Ledé, Teyana Taylor, and Kyle, they have appeared on soundtracks such as Suicide Squad: The Album, The Fate of the Furious: The Album, and quite a fair few more. Along the way, they’ve performed at the likes of Voodoo Music + More and Coachella.

They reached a critical high watermark with their sophomore offering, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. It bowed at number-two on the Billboard Top 200, and essentially hit all the critic top lists across the mainstream media. Now, they’ve welcomed everyone into the rapture of their third full-length album, blue water road [Atlantic Records], introduced with the singles ‘altar’ and ‘little story’.

Tickets go on sale to the public Friday June 3 at 9am local. For complete tour and ticket information, visit the Live Nation website.
