Now performing with his band, The Fabulous TH Band, Tony will perform tracks from across his career both as the voice of Spandau Ballet, and as a solo artist, in a September tour that takes in every Australian capital city and – interestingly – Tweed Heads.

He’ll be playing the Palais Theatre in Melbourne on September 18.

From his beginnings at the forefront of the New Romantic movement, Tony earned himself the accolade of being one of pop’s pre-eminent vocalists in the 1980s. Spandau Ballet had numerous chart-topping singles and albums all over the world, including Through the Barricades, True, and Gold.

2007 saw him appear as Billy Flynn in Chicago on the West End stage and in 2018, he released his solo album Talking To The Moon. In 2019 he was awarded an MBE.

“As the world starts to return to some sense of normality and borders start to reopen, I am thrilled that one of the first international tours I will be doing is to Australia and New Zealand,” he said. “I can’t wait to get back with The Fabulous TH band and perform in front of fans and friends once more.”

Tickets on sale from Friday, 3 June – 9.00am local time here.
