The aim of the JRN show is to combine intelligent rap, surreal comedy, and adversarial journalism in a way that is unique and hard-hitting, in order to provide an unheard angle on the issues of the day.
Hugo Farrant and Giordano Nanni are the co-creators of the online show which broadcasts from Melbourne via YouTube and is hosted by anchorman Robert Foster. JRN has recieved more than 11.5 million views across their 28 episodes since starting in late 2009, has a monthly feature spot on the global satellite 24-hour news channel Russia Today, are regularly featured on Al Jezeera English TV channel worldwide, and have been translated into more than 23 languages.-
