Jebediah were amazing in the late nineties, if you were seventeen and liked to bounce around a bit. They had a punky edge, a kind of spitting nasal pop with a slightly twee underbelly, which made them unique. But they’ve totally lost that sound, replacing it with MOR Oz indie bleating that’s as boring as it is dated. A decade of electro rock, baroque pop, angular indie and feverish garage punk has passed without leaving the slightest impression on these guys. Weird.
