Liverpool singer-songwriter Jamie Webster is heading back to Australia this December for a run of four headline shows.
The tour follows a stretch of Australian dates in 2024 and arrives off the back of Jamie Webster’s fourth studio album, Running Round The Sun, which is due for release on 4 September.
The record was put together at Rockfield Studios in Wales alongside producers Dave Eringa and Tim Cunningham, and sees Webster pulling from a new set of influences – particularly Joni Mitchell, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and the broader Laurel Canyon sound.

Written in open DADGAD tuning, Running Round The Sun follows two consecutive UK top five albums in Moments (2022) and 10 For The People (2024). The record features Webster’s longtime bandmates Danny Murphy on guitars, Jim Sharrock on drums and Cunningham on bass, and four advance singles have already been released – Ode To Me And You, Just Begun, Small Town Life and Turning Point.
Webster first came to wider attention through his connection to Liverpool FC. His track Allez Allez Allez became the unofficial anthem of the club’s 2018 Champions League run and has remained embedded in matchday culture at Anfield ever since. The street-folk track Weekend In Paradise has gone on to become one of his biggest songs internationally, picking up large streaming numbers across platforms and helping grow his audience well beyond the UK.
Arena tours are now a regular fixture for Webster across the UK, and his international following has expanded alongside them. The 2024 Australian dates drew solid crowds, and his December return will see him play Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle across four consecutive nights. All shows are presented by Troubadour.
