Blood has interested scientists and artists alike for hundreds of years. It both attracts and repels people, and is a significant cultural symbol of mixed connotations.
The 22 different artworks and exhibits on display will be sure to captivate viewers, as they explore six key themes around this important body fluid: taboo, stigma, identity, giving, health and future.
The gallery remains open to the public till the end of this week. On the last night, Friday September 22, there’ll be a one off event at Tsubu Bar called Blood After Dark to celebrate the success of the exhibition.
