Is this Australia’s most batshit crazy overnight horror festival?

Picture this. You’re camping out in the haunted grounds of Point Cook Homestead with some of your most daring mates for a non-stop horror experience where scares await you at every corner.

Immersive scare actors will be roaming the site, whose job it is to literally cruise around and scare the living bejeezus out of you. There’ll also be haunted beats at a late-night Slasher Disco alongside a set from art punk rockers Destrends on the main stage. There’s also something called a ‘Death Box’. I don’t know what’s inside it, but to be honest I’m not game to find out.

When darkness falls across the site, a massive outdoor cinema screen will light up with intense short horror films followed by two headline films.

The horror bar will keep you stocked with food and drinks (you’ll probably need a few stiff whiskeys to make it through this in one piece), while dressing up in your most ghoulish garb is certainly encouraged.

Grab a torch, grab a mate, and then hold on tight. This is going to get spooky.
