Interpol release film clip for ‘The Rover’

After announcing their forthcoming album Marauder through a live-streamed press conference in Mexico last month, fans finally have some answers as to the strange interruption that occurred during the conference. 

As it turns out, the band were in Mexico filming the video clip for their latest single ‘The Rover’ and the disrupter in question was actor and star of the clip Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who you may recognise from Girls and The Punisher. 

The clip follows Moss-Bachrach as he makes his way through Mexico in a psychedelic fever dream, becoming increasingly unhinged as the song wears on. The clip, directed by Gerardo Naranjo (Narcos) delivers a cinematic watch to match the instant fan-favourite track. Check it out below:
