Indie-folk favourites The Paper Kites announce their first Aussie live shows in two years

The six-date tour will bring The Paper Kites to iconic stages across the country.

Hot on the heels of their fifth studio album, Roses, indie-folk favourites The Paper Kites are hitting the road for a national tour in August.

  • The Paper Kites will embark on a national tour on Friday August 13
  • The tour will comprise six shows spanning Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Tasmania and Melbourne

Since releasing their debut EP Woodland back in 2011, The Paper Kites have gone from strength to strength, unleashing five highly-acclaimed albums and selling out headline shows around the world in the years since.

With album number five, the homegrown act surprised fans with a slew of collaborations, featuring the likes of Julia Stone, Ainslie Wills, Gena Rose Bruce, Lydia Cole, Nadia Reid, Amanda Bergman, and more.

Now, they’re set to take their new tracks for a ride around the country on a six-date national tour spanning Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Tasmania and Melbourne.
