The national festival, which kicks off in Melbourne in May, will seek to drive the conversation on human rights through its engaging program of films, arts and forums. This year’s festival includes documentaries Ai Weiwei: The Fake Case and Ivory Tower, along with Difret, which explores the traditional practice of marriage abduction in Ethiopia. This year’s art program will feature exhibitions by Christian Thompson and Rushdi Anwar.
