What a nice lineup, with lady-rockers Beaches joining hectic beat-masters Holy Fuck and Total Control for a triple threat Laneway sideshow to knock your ears into submission.
Despite being loved on by the Fork of Pitch, Holy Fuck have a great video that features a lot of cats, so they’ve really won me over.
Add to that their brand of electro-groove and high energy beat-driven epics and I’m totally in. They’ve got flavours of The Field and PVT and accolades all over.
Joining them are synth punkers Total Control (made of Eddy Current, Dick Diver and UV Race or at least parts thereof) and psychedelic local ladies of the guitar-pedals, Beaches.
They play together at The Hi Fi on Thursday Feburary 3, with tickets through The Hi Fi’s website.
