High-energy ensemble Northeast Party House announce Australian tour this August

Northeast Party House
WORDS BY STAFF WRITER

The self-produced, six-piece Naarm/Melbourne high energy ensemble will be embarking on a massive album tour ahead of their highly anticipated fourth studio album Enhancer.

Strap in kids: Northeast Party House are going on a journey across Australia to ignite dancefloors, build fevers of the feet and set the soul into shaker mode.

With a massive launch in the sunny hills of Los Angeles followed by the big apple of New York, the six-piece partiers from Melbourne will jet into Australia with a first stop into our coastal favourite, The Torquay Hotel on Saturday 10 August. They will then shimmy across to all major capitals and regional centres until they return home in Melbourne for a send off at Forum Theatre.

  • Fri 16 August – The Gov, Adelaide
  • Sat 17 August – Hobart Uni Bar, Hobart

With their fourth studio album Enhancer dropping on 17 May, the tour will be exploding with new tracks that blend dance music with their infectious indie spirit. Dropping the feeding line last March with lead single ‘Brain Freeze’ and hooking listeners in with the triumphant chorus of ‘Wish We Would’ in January, the band have been building the beating body of the album. With the added titular track and the drop of ‘Dark Boy’, Enhancer is set to be an electrifying extra in the Northeast Party House catalogue.

The album continues on from 2020’s pandemic product Shelf Life which saw magnetic lead single ‘Magnify’ earn a gold star on the ARIA charts, with the album overall earning a nomination for the Best Dance Release at the famed ARIA Awards.

Earlier this year, the six piece, consisting of Jack Shoe (guitar), Malcolm Besley (drums), Sean Kenihan (synth), Zach Hamilton-Reeves (vocals), Mitch Ansell (guitar) and Oliver Packard (bass), zoomed into the main stage of the Melbourne Grand Prix for a high-octane set of classics.

If the performance is anything to go off of, then you won’t want to miss out on the Enhancer Tour. Along for the ride is New Zealand artist Sachi who is playing all Australian tour dates.

Presale begins 12pm AEST this Tuesday 23 April with general sale the following day, Wednesday 24 April from 12pm AEST. Further ticketing information and presale codes can be found here.
