Located in The Social Quarter, the Hello Kitty Cafe opened its doors this morning at 10am, presenting a whimsical menu inspired by Hello Kitty’s favourite foods.
Diners can indulge in a variety of kawaii delights, including strawberry sandos, themed bento boxes, strawberry iced matcha lattes, and an array of cakes and cookies.
With its charming decor of red and pink hues, the cafe will not only be a feast for the palate but also a visual delight, perfect for endless photo opportunities.
The cafe features 30 seats for walk-in visitors and a grab-and-go counter for those looking to enjoy Hello Kitty-themed snacks on the move.
In addition to the culinary offerings, a special pop-up shop will showcase limited-edition merchandise, including T-shirts, hoodies, caps and drink bottles, all designed in collaboration with renowned street artist Sofles.
Sofles, known for his dynamic graffiti work, will unveil a breathtaking 9-meter tall installation that merges his street art style with the iconic Hello Kitty theme.
“With so much negativity in the world right now, this is my way of lifting people up. I love that Sanrio let me express myself fully. This is my true take on one of the most iconic characters of our generation. Sometimes, you have to break the rules to make your voice heard,” he said.
