Alex Lahey

What’s your music style? Indie rock with feeling

Where are you from? Melbourne

What are you looking forward to the most about GTM 2017? Playing to a regional crowd – the biggest vibes are out of the cities, for sure.

What is your favourite fruit/vegetable? Cantaloupe, not rock melon

Lanks

What’s your music style? Alt-pop/Electronic…ish

Where are you from? Melbourne

What are you looking forward to the most about GTM 2017? Seeing Slumberjack play. And also getting the chance to play at such a dope festival. What a dream

What is your favourite fruit/vegetable? Love a good mango. Can’t go wrong with that can you? Tang and sweetness in perfect balance

Birdz

What’s your music style? Rap/hip hop

Where are you from? Melbourne via Katherine N.T. via 60,000 years of deadliness

What are you looking forward to the most about GTM 2017? It’s my first time playing GTM so I’m pretty stoked all ‘round – can’t wait to turn up and vibe out.

What is your favourite fruit/vegetable? Banana pancakes

Set Mo

What’s your music style? The easiest answer is house music. We make electronic music but take influence from disco and soul and then also deeper styles

Where are you from? Sydney – born and bred.

What are you looking forward to the most about GTM 2017? We’ve actually never played in Bendigo so we’re excited to come down, check out the vibes and play to some new people who will hopefully be up for a good time and a bit of a boogie.

What is your favourite fruit/vegetable?  Bananas, they’re like natures candy bars. Also avocados – we could live off these, plus we make one of the best guacamoles you’ll ever try (not being arrogant, it’s just very good)

Slum Sociable

Melbourne’s very own Slum Sociable provide just one of the many fine treats on offer at this year’s Groovin’ The Moo. Their breakout EP TQ is well worth a spin or seven, featuring fresh cuts of jazz and their own self-sampled electronica. It’s safe to say that slumming it never felt so good.
