GTM has added a full crate of Fresh Produce names to Maitland, Canberra and Bendigo, with over 40 more artists set to hit the stages in April.
Just when you think Groovin The Moo can’t get any bigger. Capping off the mammoth lineup that they’re taking to three beloved regions around Australia this April, they’ve gone and added 40 acts across the country to their Fresh Produce stage.
Returning to Maitland, Canberra and Bendigo, the all-ages festival will be taking place for the first time since 2019, and as usual, they are giving a bunch of emerging artists a platform to share their music with the masses.

Bands added to the Bendigo incarnation include Mulalo, Queen P and Telenova, alongside artists announced for The Plot stage being Cliterally, Darby, Drechsler, Falla, Jemima, Mason Flint, Senor Senor, Third Rail Studio Presents, Tonky, Wil Barrett and Xiren Collective.
A triple j Unearthed artist for each show will also be announced in the coming weeks.
These artists all join a slew of previously announced festival favourites including Aussie legends Hilltop Hoods, Peking Duk, Middle Kids, Alice Ivy, Shouse, Hockey Dad, Jesswar, Polaris and many more, and international guests include Wolf Alice, BROODS, Thomas Headon, Snakehips, Riton and Chaii. Delivering something for every kind of punter, the festival also includes Spiderbait, new favourites like Sycco, Hope D, HP Boyz and JK-47, Eurovision conquerer Montaigne, Remix maestros Mashd N Kutcher and Redhook who will provide the riffs.

Alongside the new round of artists, GTM has also announced a bunch of community offerings.
In Bendigo, you’ll find the Dragon City Roller Derby; Hiphopportunities who will be showcasing their supreme talents on THE PLOT Stage with their Third Rail Studio Presents program; freshen up for a quick “zjoosh” at the Powder Pen thanks to local salon, Honeyeater and find treasures at The Red Cross’ vintage market stall. The Rotary Club of Bendigo Sandhurst, Bendigo Cricket Club and The Lions Club of Strathfieldsaye will be on hand to help GTM patrons and team in the car parks and when heading home, while Collarts and YO Events are joining forces with GTM once more to offer large scale event work experience opportunities to their students.
As announced last year, Groovin the Moo 2022 will see the festival run three events instead of its usual six, kicking off at its longest-standing home in Maitland NSW on Saturday 23 April. Then, it will hop over to EPIC in Canberra ACT on Sunday 24 April. The following weekend, it’s on to Bendigo VIC on Saturday 30 April.
