There’s a little of Radiohead worship going on in Mr Number 1, from its Greenwood-esque guitar tones to the eventual gritty breakdown. The backing harmonies and thunderous drums are pretty nice, but I can’t get past the fact “Mr Number 1” is repeated way too much. From what I can gather from the lyrics, the titular character is a her, so that’s pretty edgy I guess?
