With Aussie Weezer fans having all but given up hope on Rivers and co. arriving on our shores anytime soon (the band reportedly turned down a $2m+ offer to appear at this year’s Soundwave Revolution), it seems that this may be the only opportunity to hear classic tracks such as Buddy Holly, Surf Wax America, and Say It Ain’t So in the live setting.
Fans of Good Charlotte’s back catalogue won’t be missing out, with the band playing their own hits alongside the classic Weezer LP. Support on the night will come from Sydney rockers Amy Meredith.
