Genesis Owusu, Hiatus Kaiyote and loads more announced for third season of ABC’s ‘The Set’

The live music program returns to the ABC this month.

After being forced into hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions in 2020, ABC’s live music program The Set will return to our screens later this month.

Hosted by Dylan Alcott and Linda Marigliano and boasting performances from a slate of homegrown talent, season three of The Set will kick off on Saturday April 24 at 8pm on ABC TV Plus.

“It’s been a super tough 12 months for live music, so we’re absolutely thrilled to be back on your television, bringing you sets from some of the brightest and best artists of the moment,” said Alcott and Marigliano of the show’s return.

With the first two seasons having featured sets from the likes of Angus and Julia Stone, Boy & Bear, Thelma Plum, Montaigne and loads more, season three will bring another stacked program bursting with Australia’s hottest acts.

You can expect to see the likes of Genesis Owusu, Hiatus Kaiyote, Paul Kelly, Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, Ziggy Ramo, Missy Higgins, The Chats, You Am I, Birdz, Eves Karydas, Lime Cordiale and Fanny Lumsden across the ten-episode season, with more acts to be announced.

All three seasons of The Set will be available to watch via ABC iview.

Season three of The Set launches on ABC TV Plus on Saturday April 24 at 8pm.
