The explosive garage rock five-piece, responsible for classics like Hate To Say I Told You So, Walk, Idiot Walk, Tick Tick Boom, and Main Offender, have built their reputation on high-octane performances over their 30-year career.

Speaking about their new track Enough Is Enough, The Hives declared: “Who in their right mind would start a song like this? No one but The Hives. They are here again sooner than you expected and they have had enough of everyone at this point. Hence the title. Dig? Dig.”

The Hives, consisting of Howlin’ Pelle, Chris Dangerous, The Johan And Only, Nicholaus Arson, and Vigilante Carlstroem, have carved their name into rock history over three decades. Their accomplishments include selling out stadiums and sharing stages with AC/DC and The Rolling Stones. Their album Veni Vidi Vicious was named one of Rolling Stone’s Top 100 Albums of the decade, while Hate To Say I Told You So earned a spot among Pitchfork’s Top 500 Songs of the 2000s.

The band’s last album, The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons, released in 2023, marked their return after a decade of silence. Their upcoming album, The Hives Forever Forever The Hives, was recorded in Stockholm’s Riksmixningsverket studios (owned by ABBA’s Benny Andersson) under the guidance of long-standing collaborator Pelle Gunnerfeldt. The album also features contributions from Mike D of Beastie Boys and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age.

Tickets for the Australian dates go on sale Thursday 10 April at 12pm local time. Frontier Members can access a presale starting Tuesday 8 April at 12pm local time.
