Full ‘School of Rock The Musical’ cast announced

The Australian premiere of the Broadway and West End smash hit ‘School of Rock The Musical’ from Andrew Lloyd Webber is headed our way, with final cast announcements revealed today. 

The role of Rosalie Mullins, made famous by Joan Cusack in the film, will be taken on by Amy Lehpamer. Buttoned up and spectacles on, Lehpamer is ready to play the by the book teacher with a love for Stevie Nicks.

She joins Brent Hill as music teacher Dewey Finn, played by Jack Black in the original film, and other cast members announced this week, including John O’Hara as Ned Shcneebly (Priscilla, Dusty, Cats, Singin’ in the Rain), Matt Crowley as Theo (Molly: The Molly Meldrum Story, House Husbands) and Joe Kosky as the understudy of Dewey (Kinky Boots, Priscilla).

“We are thrilled with the cast that has been assembled for the Australian premiere of School of Rock,” say producers from GWB Entertainment. “It’s a true delight to bring together some of Australia’s leading stage performers alongside some incredible emerging talents. We have no doubts that audiences will fall in love with the wit and charm of School of Rock when we open at Her Majesty’s Theatre later this year.”
