One of our favourite retailers, the very awesome All Star Comics Melbourne on Lonsdale St., will be hosting a hectic day of not only free comics and a costume competition, but also a gargantuan local lineup of artists who will be giving up their time to draw free sketches for you – and with the help of Melbourne City Council – it will all be set-up under four marquees in an alley at the Lonsdale St. end of Hardware St.
If you’re bringing kids, the store will be open for a family only first hour at 9am, including free show bags, then will be open to everyone else from 10am, so if you don’t have kids, try buy some today so you can beat the queues tomorrow.
The selection of free comics this year is great and, if stock doesn’t run out, everyone should be able to get their hands on five or so titles at ASCM. Free fucking comics!
