Playing music with your friends: We’re grateful that we live in a country/socio-economic bracket that allows us to do what we love with our best friends. It’s important to acknowledge that not everyone has that privilege. We’re in a great position to help change that and make sure that music is a place for everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, background, etc.
Animals: Cats, dogs, koalas…They’re all good. We’ll argue until we’re blue in the face that animals are better than people. They’re curious and entertaining and they’ll make some of the best friends you’ll ever have.
Fruit with stones in it: Nothing good comes easy and fruit is no exception to that rule. Mangos, plums, peaches, apricots, cherries… the list goes on.
Giving a shit about local music: Local artists deserve your support. We owe a lot to venues like Blackwire, Record Paradise, Beatdisc, Loophole – smaller venues that allowed us to cut our teeth and learn how to function autonomously. It’s a shame some of these venues are now shutting their doors because of noise complaints and strict liquor licensing laws. Your next favourite band is probably a bunch of 17 year olds making a horrendous racket in their mum’s garage, so if you can afford to do so, go to shows, buy a record and be part of the things you want to see.
Guitars: They’re the very best instrument. Look it up. They’re definitely better than bass and drums
