Grammy-nominated DJ Fisher is bringing his electric energy to Flemington Racecourse for TAB Champions Stakes Day on Saturday, 8 November.
Fisher will headline the Off the Rails party in the new Elms precinct after the final race, wrapping up the 2025 Melbourne Cup Carnival with a DJ set that’s bound to get everyone moving. For the first time, the racetrack past the winning post will open up after the last race, letting racegoers step onto the track for the performance.
Queensland-born Fisher swapped a surfing career for life as a globe-trotting DJ and producer, and it’s clearly worked out. His breakout hit Losing It scored him a Grammy nomination and has racked up over half a billion streams, cementing itself as one of the decade’s biggest dance records.

Fisher’s global appeal has landed him residencies in Las Vegas and Ibiza, sets at Coachella, and even a float appearance at Carnival in Brazil in front of 250,000 people. He’s hosted his own South Beach pool party at the Delano Hotel during Miami Music Week and curated Out 2 Lunch, now known as Australia’s biggest beach party on the Gold Coast.
Fisher’s performance is part of a stacked entertainment lineup for the carnival, with PNAU playing Lexus Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, 4 November and Craig David taking the stage for Crown Oaks Day on Thursday, 6 November. All three headline acts perform at the world-class entertainment stage in The Elms at the end of the straight, just past the winning post.
Entry to Fisher’s performance is included with a Flemington Pass general admission ticket. Melbourne Cup Carnival kicks off with Howden Victoria Derby Day on Saturday, 1 November.
