Laneway Festival sideshows drop with BENEE, Cavetown, Gigi Perez and more

Words by staff writer

Looks like you'll need to clear your calendar – Laneway Festival has just announced a massive sideshow program featuring nine of its biggest acts.

After Sydney and Melbourne shows sold out in under an hour, Laneway Festival has unveiled sideshows for BENEE, Cavetown, Geese, Gigi Perez, Jensen McRae, Malcolm Todd, Mt. Joy, Oklou and Wisp across February 2026.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of record demand for the main festival, with Handsome Tours, Laneway Presents and Astral People delivering headline shows that span Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Wellington and Torquay. New Zealand artist BENEE returns to Australia for the first time in six years, bringing her genre-blurring alt-pop to three headline shows. Her sophomore album Ur An Angel I’m Just Particles drops on 7 November, featuring new singles Off The Rails and Cinnamon.
