Faroese singer Eivør will return to Australia and New Zealand for her first headline tour in March 2026.
Following triumphant sold-out European shows and critically praised performances across the United States earlier this year, Eivør Pálsdóttir brings her signature sonic alchemy back to the southern hemisphere. The tour marks Eivør’s first-ever headline run across both countries, following her breathtaking supporting performances during Heilung’s debut 2024 tour that left audiences spellbound and eager for more.
Joining Eivør is Norwegian composer and multi-instrumentalist Sylvaine, whose ethereal sound bridges the sacred and the storm. Kathrine Shepard’s 2022 album Nova solidified her position as a leading figure in the black-gaze and atmospheric Nordic music scenes, making this pairing a perfect match for lovers of transcendent Nordic traditions.

From the windswept cliffs of Syðrugøta in the Faroe Islands to global recognition, Eivør’s voice has travelled far beyond her Nordic homeland. Her music features heavily in the soundtrack of Netflix’s global hit series The Last Kingdom and has accumulated nearly one billion streams worldwide. With 10 studio albums under her belt, she continues to establish herself as one of the most powerful and emotive live performers of our time.
The Faroese artist has collaborated with notable musicians including Ásgeir, John Grant, Einar Selvik from Wardruna and Dan Heath, who has worked with Lana Del Rey. Her achievements include winning the prestigious 2021 Nordic Council Music Prize, cementing her status within the Nordic music landscape.
Eivør’s live performances blend primal rhythms, folk mysticism and cinematic grandeur into what can only be described as a ritual experience. Her signature style draws from ancient Faroese traditions while incorporating contemporary sonic elements that create deeply moving and spiritual experiences for audiences.
This tour promises to be more than just concerts, offering shared experiences for devotees of spiritual, genre-defying folk music. Fans of Heilung, Wardruna and the broader spectrum of Nordic atmospheric music will find their sanctuary in these performances.
Presale tickets begin Wednesday 28 May at 9am local time, with general sales starting Friday 30 May at 9am local time. For more information, head here.
