Beloved indie rockers End Of Fashion will celebrate their debut album's 20th anniversary with a national tour.
The Perth band will mark two decades since their explosive first release with their first national tour in almost a decade. The 20th Anniversary Tour will see the band perform their debut album live and in full, plus an encore featuring fan favourites and additional tracks. This marks a significant return for the group, who have been largely absent from the touring circuit in recent years.
Coinciding with the tour, End Of Fashion will release a special 20th anniversary edition vinyl. The visually striking double LP features vibrant coloured vinyl, archive artwork, a never-before-released lyric sheet and a collage of fan-submitted photos. The first disc contains the original album remastered, while the second offers rare demos, B-sides and previously unheard material.
Notable tracks from the original album include collaborations such as Oh Strain featuring Little Birdy’s Katy Steele. The reissue showcases the depth of material the band created during this creative period, with many tracks finally seeing the light of day after two decades in the archives.
The anniversary edition demonstrates the lasting impact of End Of Fashion’s debut on Australian music culture. Their blend of indie rock sensibilities with pop accessibility helped define the mid-2000s Australian music landscape and influenced countless artists who followed.
Justin Burford and the band have expressed their gratitude for the album’s enduring popularity and the opportunity to share these songs with both longtime fans and new audiences. The tour represents not only a celebration of past achievements but also a platform to showcase what comes next for the group.
Fan presales begin Wednesday 28 May at 10am AEST, with general public sales starting Thursday 29 May at 10am AEST.
