The former Butterfingers frontman has gone solo with a raw, brassy take on the Beastie Boys iconic punk/hip hop sound. The rap is a posturing, introductory diatribe in the vein of Eminem’s The Real Slim Shady, only lame, as is the way with most things Oz Hop (the general gist is that he’s a bit mental and he might have sex with your mother). Lyrics aside, the song has a cracking energy, but Evil’s jazzy crooning towards the end is a real mis-step.
