Melbourne folk-rock powerhouse Kill The Darling has unveiled their new EP, You Were Just A Building –a concept EP of sorts that tracks the highs and lows of long-distance love.
Pushing their pastoral folk sound into darker terrain, the four-track EP is best listened to as a complete song cycle, chronicling the end of a relationship and the journey that follows.
It’s been a watershed 2018 for the group, who rose to new acclaim through the artist development GRID program and their single ‘Hounds’ rising through AMRAP’s charts.
