The EP includes a new single ‘On Our Way Home’ and two fresh remixes of ‘Way to Go,’ which was first released as part of their 2016 album Two Vines. The remixes are by Japanese talent Cornelius, as well as Gomez and Tritter. The EP closes with another new tune, ‘Two Leaves.’
To top it off, the band are unveiling a video for ‘Way to Go.’ It was shot in Japan, and uses state of the art motion scanning technology. Luke Steele said that director Nobumichi Asais is “nothing short of genius! The colours and shapes he creates are mind bending, with a certain digital romance to it all.”
Empire of the Sun have performed in over 150 cities over the past few years. They played at Coachella and the renowned Hollywood Bowl venue in Los Angeles.
